Tomy's knowledge and personality shined throughout the tour. I had passed through some of the same areas a couple of days before and was utterly devastated by how much I had actually missed. There are many places that feel closed off, but Tomy explained that many are actually open to the public. I also loved getting the history from a local who clearly loves his country and takes pride with the enormous steps that Singapore took to be the country it is today. Throughout the tour he went at a fast enough pace that I felt we had explored a good amount of the city, but slow enough that we didn't have any stragglers struggling to keep up.

Tomy brought us on a tour (his first!) with a good mix of well known and smaller more hidden spots in the area we picked. The route thoughtfully (since he mentioned he planned it this way) had a good amount of shade, A/C indoors, and bathroom/water stops. He is very knowledgeable, never needing to look at notes to explain the places he brought us, answer questions, or get from stop to stop. His tour felt mostly like when you get set up with a friend of a friend somewhere you've never been who happens to be a bit of a history nerd and is very excited to show you around their city pointing out interesting things as you go, which I think is perfect and very similar to his YouTube video style (we used his videos to do most of our planning).

11/10! Tomy exceeded all expectations with this tour. We booked a private tour for a group of ex-pat residents and foreign tourist visitors, and there was something for everyone. Even those who have lived in Singapore for years learned something new. If you are a fan of Tomy's YouTube videos, you will feel like you are stepping into the screen - but with plenty of fresh content and a few fun surprises along the way. Tomy did a great job incorporating a few specific locations we wanted to visit along our tour route, and well as ensuring that we had plenty of shade & air con stops to keep cool in the Singapore heat. Thank you, Tomy for making this an absolute highlight of our Singapore experience!
